ABOUT LEGENIA
Woman of God • Author • Nonprofit Founder • YouTuber • Podcast Host • Recipe Creator • Director

Legenia Spiller-Bearden is an author, producer, director, entrepreneur, photographer, and award-winning recipe creator—most importantly a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Bearden Productions Center for the Arts (BPCA), a 501(c)(3) performing arts organization based in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Founded in 2006, BPCA was born out of Legenia’s deep love for theatre and her passion for serving her community. Under her leadership, BPCA provides accessible, high-quality arts education—including acting, dance, culinary arts, and visual arts—to children and adults, often at little or no cost.
In addition to her work in the arts, Legenia is a nationally recognized culinary content creator and the winner of Food Network’s Family Recipe Showdown. She is also the creator of Keto Spice Blends, a line of four flavorful, low-carb seasonings designed to make everyday cooking bold, simple, and accessible. Through her digital platforms, she shares approachable, soulful recipes rooted in family, culture, and real-life balance.
Legenia holds an Associate Degree in Business, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and a Master of Public Administration from Webster University. She blends strategic leadership with creative vision across all of her endeavors.
She and her husband, Rev. Daniel Bearden, have been married 21 years and are the proud parents of four children—Theresa, Daniel, Autume, and Angelina.
