Cook & Connect: A Couples Kitchen Experience

Cook & Connect is a relaxed, guided couples cooking experience designed to bring you into the kitchen together — without pressure, competition, or complicated techniques.

This is not a traditional cooking class. Instead, it’s an intimate, hands-on experience where couples cook side-by-side, enjoy bold Cajun flavors, and share a meaningful evening centered on good food and connection.

Together, you’ll prepare a creamy Cajun chicken skillet and garlic butter rice, learning approachable techniques you can easily recreate at home. While you enjoy your meal, the instructor will demonstrate a warm skillet apple crisp to finish the evening on a sweet note.

All ingredients and equipment are provided. The atmosphere is welcoming, beginner-friendly, and intentionally small to ensure every couple feels comfortable and engaged.

About the Instructor

This experience is led by Legenia Spiller-Bearden, the creator behind Sincerely Legenia and a Food Network–featured culinary creator known for her bold Southern and Cajun-inspired flavors.

Legenia’s teaching style is approachable and encouraging, making cooking enjoyable and accessible for all skill levels. She focuses on real-life meals that feel special without being complicated, helping guests leave confident and inspired to recreate what they’ve learned at home.
