Brine for Turkey Cutlets


This brine leave your poultry juicy and delicious during the cooking process. You can modify the ingredients to your liking.

Brine for Turkey Cutlets


  1. Add all ingredients to a large pot (except ice)

  2. Bring to a boil, turn off heat, cover and let cool

  3. Add cutles to a container with a lid and is large enough to hold the liquid. 

  4. Add cooled liquid, cover and let brine for a minimum of 3 hours at room temp. If brining over night I place in the fridge.

  5. When ready, remove cutlets from brine, rinse under cold water and pat dry.

  6. Prepare any way you'd like.

Your cutlets will remain juicy and delicious. Enjoy!

  • 5-10 cutlets

  • 6 cups water 

  • 2-3 thyme sprigs

  • 1 small onion, sliced

  • 5 garlic cloves

  • 1/4 cup kosher salt 

  • 4 pieces candied ginger

  • 1 bay leaf 

  • 1 lemon, cut in half

  • 18 oz. ice
