Easy Low Carb Tostadas
So Easy to make and super delicious.
Add oil (quarter in layer) to a skillet. Heat oil until it's sizzling hot (not smoking hot)
Place the tortillas in skillet one at a time and fry. Bubbles will begin to form in the tortilla as soon as you put it in the oil. If not, wait until the oil is hot enough.
Cook tortillas until they are golden brown on both sides, being careful not to burn them. This process should take about 30 seconds per side. Remove and place on wire rack or paper towl to drain.
Next place ground turkey, and onion in a hot skillet and brown. Drain any excess fat.
Add garlic and Sincerely Legenia Mexican Blend OR your favorite mexican/ taco seasoning. Cook and additonal 2 - 3 minutes them remove from heat.
Next, combine avocado, dices tomato, garlic, salt & pepper in a medium bowl. Using a fork or a smasher, smash avocado mixture until well combined.
Now it's time to put your tostada together!
To prepare a your tostadas, spread a spoonful of guacamole smash over a tostada shell. Next, Add ground turkey, cheese, and all other toppings.
Do not overload your tostada you may find it difficult to eat. Enjoy!
4 Corn Tortillas ( I use Ala Madre OR Mr. Tortilla)
1 lb. Ground Turkey
Avacado Oil (For Frying)
1/2 Small Onion (Chopped)
2 Tbsp. diced tomato
1 Garlic Clove (Chopped)
Salt & Pepper to taste
