Introduction

Detroit-style pizza is square, with a thick crust, and with crisp, chewy edges. The cheese extends to the edges of the pan making the crust extra crunchy and Oh so delicious. I did the best I could to achieve this with a keto version of the famous pizza! I think it turned out great and I hope you love it as much as we do. Enjoy my friends.

Real Keto Detroit Style Pepperoni Pizza

Steps

  1. Add mozzarella cheese, almond flour, cream cheese, baking powder, salt to a medium-size bowl. Place in the microwave for 1 minute

  2. Remove and mix together with a sturdy spoon. Add egg immediately and mix until well combined. You will notice your dough is sticky

  3. * Option: Place in the refrigerator to make the dough more manageable.

  4. Add olive oil and butter to a small 8.5 in by 6.5 deep dish pan

  5. Place dough in greased pan, making sure to spread it all the way to the edges.

  6. Top with Monterey Jack and mozzarella cheese.

  7. Add sauce on top of the cheese. Place in two straight lines down the pizza (the long way). Add as little or as much as you'd like. Add pepperoni on top of the sauce.

  8. Place in the oven at 425 degrees for 12 minutes.

  9. Remove when done and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
