Savory Tomato Jam


  1. 1. Add diced tomatos to a bowl along with the pectin and salt

  2. 2. Using a masher, mash to your desired chunkyness

  3. 3. Next add olive oil garlic and rosemary to a saute pan on medium low heat

  4. 4. Let it saute until fragrant about 3 minutes

  5. 5. Remove the garlic and rosemary and add in your tomato mixture

  6. 6. Let tomatoes cook for about 2 minutes, then add basil, thyme and oregano leaves. 

  7. 7. Mix together, then reduce heat to low and let it simmer until its get that "jam" consistency. Usually takes about 8 minutesl 

  8. 8. Remove from heat and let it cool. 

  9. 9. Enjoy! 

*Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 months or in the freezer for up to 6 months.

2 lbs. of roma tomatoes, diced

1 garlic clove, sliced

1/4 cup pectin (low/ no sugar needed pectic)

1 sprig of rosemary

2 tbs. olive oil

3 sprigs of thyme

2 sprigs of oregano

3 basil leaves, chiffonade or shredded

1 dash of salt
