Introduction

The perfect comfort meal for these cold winter months! Serve over rice or the traditional way with mashed potatoes!

Sincerely's Swedish Meatballs

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 375 

  2. In a medium bowl combine ground beef, Sincerely Legenia All Purpose Seasoning, dijon mustard, nutmeg, panko bread crumbs, egg and white pepper. Mix well to combine.

  3. Roll beef mixture into 1 inch meatballs, place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

  4. When meatballs are done, reserve 1 tbsp. of the meatball drippings. 

  5. To a skillet on medium high add reserved meatball drippings, and butter. When butter melts add onion and cook until the onions are tender. 

  6. Whisk in flour and let it cook for approx. 3 minutes until it is no longer raw.

  7. Stir in nutmeg, beef broth, dijon mustard and Wochesire sauce, let it cook for 5 minutes then stir in half and half. 

  8. Add meatballs to the skillet, reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 15 minutes. 

  9. While meatballs are cooking, cook your rice.

  10. Serve meatballs on top of rice OR mashed potatoes! 

  11. Enjoy!

  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • 1 tbsp. Sincerely Legenia All Purpose Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp. white pepper

  • 1 egg

  • 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1 tsp. dijon mustard

For the Gravy

  • 1 tbsp. drippings from meatballs

  • 1 tbsp. butter

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 2 tbsp. flour

  • 2 cups cups beef broth

  • 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg 

  • 1/2 tsp. dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp. Wochesire sauce

  • 1/2 cup half and half

  • salt and pepper to taste
